Two people were killed and two were injured in a single-car rollover accident early Sunday in DeKalb County, according to police.

Victor Carson, 49, and Cherika Carson, 27, died in the wreck that happened at around 5:24 a.m. on Redan Road at Allgood Road.  They were back- seat passengers in the 1996 Infiniti G30 that was heading west on Redan Road.

The driver, Robert Wyche, Jr.,  lost control and left the roadway along the left shoulder, police said.  The Infiniti overturned several times ejecting Victor Carson, who died at the scene. Cherika Carson, also a back-seat passenger, died at the scene as well. Police did not provide details on the relationship between Victor and Cherika Carson.

Wyche and front seat passenger, Anika Kelsay, were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Police did not know the extent of those injuries.

Police provided no other details. The accident remains under investigation.
