A northwest Georgia cheerleading coach has been accused of selling methamphetamine out of his office.

Dwight Jerome Cook, the owner of Sidelines All-Star gym, had a meth pipe in his pocket at the time of his arrest, Dalton police said Thursday afternoon. The 27-year-old also had 11 grams of meth in his office at the gym, where he also lived, police said. The gym is located on Powell Drive.

Cook, of Dalton, was the subject of a month-long undercover investigation, Bruce Frazier with Dalton police said. Investigators do not believe Cook attempted to sell drugs to any cheerleaders training at the gym, Frazier told the AJC.

He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
