Drivers experienced delays on northbound I-75 in Cobb County Thursday afternoon after a crash sent a vehicle down an embankment and two people to the hospital.

The accident occurred about 12:45 p.m. before Chastain Road, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

“We transported two patients,” Cobb fire spokeswoman Denell Boyd told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Their conditions were not immediately known.
