A couple that was unaccounted for after a fire destroyed their Fayette County home returned hours later, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Officials were concerned the couple might have died in the fire in the 300 block of Porter Road, the television station reported. They had been looking for the pair since the blaze started about 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The couple returned home just before 1:30 p.m., according to Channel 2. They were not aware of the incident and did not discuss it. No other details were released.
The fire remains under investigation.
