The year should start in October, Pitts said in a statement, and he is seeking support from Fulton’s state legislators. Pitts, who serves at large, said using revenue projections makes the county vulnerable, and it’s why Fulton issues tax anticipation notes -- short-term loans -- to bridge a cash flow gap each year.
