After claiming on Facebook he was 25 years old, a DeKalb County man allegedly drove to the home of a 15-year-old girl and raped her, according to police. Now, the teenager is pregnant and the alleged rapist is in the Cobb County jail.
Anthony Antonio Norman, 41, allegedly sent a friend request to the teen last summer and asked for her address so he could meet her, according to the arrest warrant obtained by the AJC. But when he arrived at her Mableton home, Norman allegedly forced his way inside and then raped the girl on the foyer rug, the warrant states.
The teen is pregnant, and when the baby is born, a DNA test will be conducted to determine if Norman is the father, according to Smyrna police. The teen's mother told police she contacted Norman on Facebook, and he told her he would take care of the child if it is his, the warrant states.
The mother reported the alleged rape to police, who arrested Norman on May 21 at his home near Decatur. Norman was booked into the Cobb County jail, where he remained Wednesday without bond.
He has been charged with rape, statutory rape, child molestation, cruelty to children and sexual exploitation of children, jail records show.
