Cops release suspects' sketches in Inman Park pub robbery
Atlanta police on Tuesday released the sketches of two men suspected of robbing a half-dozen customers and a bartender at the North Highland Pub in Inman Park.
The first man was described by victims as around 30-years-old with a thin build, wearing a dew rag and a winter-like cap with floppy sides. He was armed with a silver and black handgun. The second man was described as looking younger than the first man, possibly in his late 20s, short and with a goatee. He was unarmed. Victims described both as having dark complexions and wearing dark clothing.
The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. June 25 at the bar at 469 N. Highland Ave. NE. When police arrived, a half-dozen customers and a bartender told them they had all been robbed.
The victims said two men entered the restaurant and immediately pointed the gun at everyone and ordered them to put their valuables on the bar. The bartender said he was ordered to hand over the money in the cash register. The suspects took cash, cell phones and a laptop and fled south on Highland.
The bar's surveillance cameras were not working at the time, according to a police report.
