Norcross resident Andrew Wesley Dix, Jr., has been reported missing by his family, and he’s also wanted by Gwinnett County police.

Dix, 42, was released from the Gwinnett County Detention Center on May 17. His family never heard from him upon his release, and told police Dix has a mental health condition that could cause him to act erratically.

Dix is also wanted on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Jail records show he was charged with the same offense in 2015.

Anyone who sees Dix should call 911, police said. Anyone with information about Dix’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
