A woman was kidnapped, robbed and sexually assaulted right after she walked out of a CVS drugstore in Austell early Tuesday morning.

Cobb County police said the 24-year-old woman was leaving the CVS at 800 East-West Connector in Austell around 1:30 a.m. when she was approached by a man with a handgun. The suspect forced the woman into her car and made her drive him to an unknown location where he raped her, according to police. The man then forced the woman to drive to various ATMs in metro Atlanta and withdraw money from her bank account, police said.

At some point, after taking money from the woman, the suspect got out of the woman's car and fled on foot.

"This is a very dangerous individual, and Cobb County police are very concerned," said spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce. "We need the public's help in identifying him so we can safely take him into custody."

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned black male with short dreadlocks. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

Police asks that anyone with information who could help solve this crime to call (770) 499-3945.
