Cops: DeKalb sex offender offends again

A Lithonia man convicted of sexual battery is in the DeKalb County jail again.

Eddie Dubose, 50, is accused of molesting a girl under the age of 16 by fondling her while she tried to sleep one morning in July, according to an arrest warrant released this week.

He was booked Monday and remained held without bond Wednesday.

Public records show he was also charged with child molestation in 2006 but was only convicted of sexual battery. He was sentenced to three years and received first offender treatment.
