The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Tuesday awarded a $678,000 contract for the reconstruction of the Pinckneyville Park playgrounds to Multiplex LLC, the lowest bidder. The project includes replacement of playground equipment, safety surfacing and fencing in four playground areas as well as replacement of a sand volleyball court and other work at the park on South Old Peachtree Road in Norcross.
Funds generated by the 2009 SPLOST will pay for the renovations.
