College Park police are looking for the 30-year-old man responsible for a deadly shooting Friday night outside a recording studio.
Pachino Allen Williams is believed to be armed and dangerous, College Park Lt. Reed Pollard said Saturday evening. When found, Williams will be charged with murder, police said.
A man named "Miguel" is also considered a "person of interest," Pollard said.
That does not make him a suspect; but police think he either was involved or has information about the shootout, which left one man dead and another injured.
The man who was shot and killed has been identified as Calvin James Perdue, 30.
Police believe that robbery was the motive behind the shooting, which happened early Friday evening.
Roughly 30 gun shots were fired outside the studio in the 3200 block of E. Main Street, Pollard told the AJC. "Right now it looks to be drug-related," he said.
Several people were spotted fleeing the studio after the shooting began, and Pollard said investigators believe at least one of those men was wounded.
Police found several pounds of marijuana as well as cocaine and Ecstasy inside the bullet-ridden Range Rover, Pollard said.
Williams was arrested in 2002 on drug charges, Pollard said.
The address – 3274 Main Street – belongs to a Sta Bizzi Entertainment, according to Internet research.
The company’s Web site said it started up seven years ago as an independent music recording studio that focused primarily on hip-hop and R&B.
Two phone numbers listed – one on the company's Website and another on its MySpace page – have been disconnected.
The shooting comes less than 48 hours after aspiring rapper Dezmond Wilson, 24, was shot multiple times and killed inside a southwest Atlanta recording studio.
Pollard told the AJC that it is not clear whether the two incidents are related.
