The Walker School is inviting the public to discuss the prevalence of anxiety among young people following a movie screening it will host on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The film, “Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety,” is a 55-minute exploration of the topic, and includes interviews with Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps and stories from parents and teens. The screening will begin at 7 p.m., with the question-and-answer session starting at 8 p.m.
Producer Scilla Andreen and Dr. Jerry Bubrick, a senior clinical psychologist with Child Mind Institute, will also participate in the discussion. Wednesday’s event is free and open to the public. The Walker School is at 700 Cobb Parkway North in Marietta.
