The Cobb school board Thursday will discuss whether to use extra penny sales tax dollars to replace computers and buy new textbooks. Due to low construction costs, the district has been able to complete projects for less than the budgeted amount. Officials want to spend part of the $15.4 million in savings on new computers and books. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at 514 Glover St., Marietta. Information: www.cobbk12.org
