Getting a new car can sometimes be an aggravating process.

That wasn’t so for Brian Roberts this week.

The Smyrna man was all smiles Tuesday picking up his free car courtesy of Delta Community Credit Union.

The 39-year-old father was automatically entered into the sweepstakes when he applied for a car loan with the credit union in October.

“Roberts, was delighted upon hearing the news and was very excited when he picked up his car,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter.

Roberts showed up to the Riverwood Parkway location of the credit union in Vinings with his three sons Tuesday to get his car.

And not just any car.

Roberts got to pick whatever he wanted in the lot of Carvana, Delta Community's online car-buying service.

He picked out a 2014 Lexus GS 350.

Although he already had a car, he also has a 15-year-old son.

His oldest is getting a driver’s license and the father suspects his son might be asking him a question sometime soon.
