A Cobb County man was killed Friday when he drove his vehicle into a wall at a shopping mall in Marietta, authorities said.
Investigators and witnesses said the driver of a 2008 Dodge Calibre was driving erratically in the parking lot behind the Jets Pizza business at the mall in the 3600 block of Dallas Highway, Cobb police said Saturday in a media release. The driver accelerated into a cinder-block wall, the release said.
The driver has been identified as Joseph Almeida, 21, of Marietta.
