Cobb man claims $1M Powerball prize

A Mableton man won $1 million after his ticket matched the first five numbers in a recent Powerball drawing.

Robert Bosarge purchased the winning Powerball ticket in June from Publix Super Market at 5015 Floyd Road, Georgia Lottery officials said in an emailed statement.

However, he did not claim his $1 million prize at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta until Aug. 21.

Winning numbers from the June 27 Powerball drawing were: 18-28-35-46-49 and the Powerball was 27.
