A Powder Springs lawyer has been arrested and accused of taking money from clients for work he didn't do.

Robert Bach, 78, of Powder Springs, was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with 25 counts of theft by taking and five of theft by conversion after an investigation determined that he failed to file bankruptcy paperwork for his paying clients, Lt. Matt Boyd, of the Powder Springs Police Department, said Wednesday.

The investigation started after clients complained to police, and it is ongoing, Boyd said. He asked that anyone familiar with the case, including potential victims, contact Detective J. Echeverry of the Powder Springs police at 770-943-1616.
