One person was killed and four are in critical condition in Atlanta hospitals following a head-on collision with a tree Friday night in Clayton County, police said.

A sixth individual is wanted by police for questioning after he walked away from the accident, Clayton County police spokeswoman Tina Daniel told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Saturday night.

“We would like to speak with Patrick Collier for a statement,” Daniel said.

But the 20-year-old Collier is also wanted by police for probation violation, authorities said.

Charmayne McCier, 20, was killed at the scene of the accident, when the 1985 Oldmobile Cutlass she was riding in with Collier and four other friends went off the road Friday around 9:30 p.m., and slammed into a tree on Gilbert Road, off Conley Road, Daniel said.

The driver, Brandon Parker, 20, along with Julius Manning, 20, and Brittany Brown, 20, are in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital, WSB TV is reporting.

Terrance Douglas, 19, is in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center according to hospital officials.
