Clark Atlanta University Art Galleries is honoring an alumnus with an exhibition of his art.
The exhibition is “Where on Earth: The Art of Robert Reid,” and on view until April 29. Reid attended Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University) for two years before being drafted into the Navy in 1943. He painted until 1998 and has art in the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art and the Musée et Galerie des Beaux Arts in France. He died in 2000.
The exhibition is Tuesday- Friday 11 am to 4 pm in Trevor Arnett Hall. Admission is free.
