Clark Atlanta University’s 2017 commencement ceremony is back in Panther Stadium — at least for now.

Officials at the Atlanta university said Saturday the event is still scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday. They are “still closely monitoring” weather forecasts, spokeswoman Tenisha Bell said.

Rain is expected to move into the area in the next few days.

According to Channel 2 Action News, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and storms Sunday and a 30 percent chance of isolated showers Monday.

Of course, if the weather doesn't cooperate, CAU will fall back on its rainy-day contingency plan and move the ceremony to Morehouse College's Forbes Arena, 830 Westview Dr.

Panther Stadium is at 735 Beckwith St. SW.

The Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel will be the overflow location.

Tickets are not needed. All seating in all venues is on first-come, first-serve basis.
