Police in Alpharetta are searching for four suspects who they say broke into a gas station Thursday morning and stole about $3,000 worth of cigarettes.

According to a police report, officers arrived at the scene around 6 a.m. after a female employee who witnessed the alleged burglary called them. The employee told police she was arriving at the Shell gas station at 11370 State Bridge Road for work when she saw a silver SUV parked by the door on the west side of the building.

The witness told police the suspects were “young men” dressed in all black with hoods over their faces. The police report notes that that officers could not determine the ethnicity or gender of the suspects from the surveillance footage.
