Christmas business lights return to Austell

Austell city officials and downtown building owners have reached an agreement on lighting downtown businesses with city Christmas lights.

The downtown building owners did not want city employees using their electricity or climbing on their roofs.

Instead the city used extension cords to use the city’s electricity and a bucket truck.
