Chattahoochee Hills hosts comprehensive plan meetings
The city of Chattahoochee Hills will hold a neighborhood meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cochran Mill Nature Center, 6402 Campbellton Redwine Road. The aim is to receive feedback from residents on the most recently updated version of the Chattahoochee Hills Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted in 2011, and details the city’s plan for revitalization and economic development.
The city’s plan, chosen by council and residents, is a deliberately rural vision in the face of urban development in surrounding communities. The goal of the plan is to maintain a close relationship to nature and agriculture with compatible and sustainable businesses nearby. The next updated plan neighborhood meeting is 6 p.m. June 4 at Cedar Grove Community Building, 9285 Cedar Grove Road.
