Cause of death in Roswell hotel undetermined

June 3, 2011

The cause of death for a woman whose body was found in a Roswell hotel room is "undetermined," pending further tests, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said Friday.

The woman has been identified as Debra Black, 48, of Canton.

Roswell police described her death as "questionable."

An employee at the InTown Suites Extended Stay Hotel in the 1100 block of Hembree Road found Black's body when she went to clean the room just before 11 a.m. Thursday. Black had checked in earlier in the week.

Police said the body was on the bed. The room was in disarray and the body had "some points of interest on it," authorities said.
