More than 20 cars were broken into at a senior home in the Decatur area early Monday morning, DeKalb County police said. But nothing was reported stolen.

Investigators are asking for the public to provide any information they have about the break-ins at Decatur Christian Towers on Church Street, a 14-story apartment building for low-income seniors.

A DeKalb police report listed 23 vehicles that had broken windows. Officers were called to the scene, which is south of North Decatur Road, just before 4:30 a.m. Monday.

A witness told police that she saw a man breaking into a vehicle, but he yelled “let’s go” to someone else when he saw her, according to the report. He was tall and wearing a dark jacket and white pants, the woman said.

Surveillance footage showed two unknown people in the senior home parking lot looking through car windows.
