A 62-year-old man was injured Monday morning when his Pontiac Grand Prix sideswiped a Henry County school bus, according to police.

None of the 16 children on the bus nor the bus driver was injured in the accident that happened around 7:40 a.m.

Police said the bus had just begun to move after picking up two children along Ga. 81 when the oncoming car hit it.

The driver, whose name was not released,  was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. His condition in unknown.
