Canton PD gets new support services head

The Canton Police Department has hired a new captain to head its support services bureau.

Wendell Turner has a more than 20 years in law enforcement, most recently serving as director of public safety in Statesboro, heading both the police and fire departments in the south Georgia community. Turner holds several Georgia Peace Officer and Training Council certifications, including training and managerial stripes.
