The Office of the DeKalb County Solicitor-General is looking for experienced dancers to partner with local “stars” in the 2nd Annual Dancing with the DeKalb Stars.

Those interested are encouraged to submit a headshot, resume and/or reel to Dionne McGee at damcgee@dekalbcountyga.gov by July 1.

Dancing with the DeKalb Stars is a dance competition featuring members of DeKalb’s legal, public safety, business and civic communities. The event, set for Oct. 20 at a location to be announced, is a domestic violence prevention fundraiser and resource expo.

The teams will compete for “Judge’s Favorite” and “Audience Favorite.” Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships benefit the International Women’s House and the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
