Bush Road to get sidewalks, other improvements
Gwinnett County will build sidewalks and gutters along Bush Road under a contract approved by the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.
Commissioners awarded a $544,815 contract to CMES Inc. of Lilburn, the low bidder. The company will build about seven-tenths of a mile of sidewalks, curbs and gutters along the road near Foxwood Road. It also will stripe the road and perform drainage improvements.
When the project is finished, Bush Road will have continuous sidewalks on Bush Road from South Berkeley Lake Road to Medlock Bridge Road.
