Buford Dam Road at the southern end of Lake Lanier will be closed for repairs all day Wednesday, Jan. 22, and park entrances inside the work area will be inaccessible, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced.

The road is scheduled to be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., when the work is expected to be completed, the corps said. Closed parks include Lower Overlook, Lower Pool West, and the West Bank Turn-out. The Lake Lanier Project Management Office and Visitor Center will remain open.
