Brookhaven Mayor Rebecca Chase Williams has invited residents to come and talk to her directly. There will be several opportunities to speak to the mayor about ideas for the Brookhaven community.

“As your new mayor, I want to get a chance to meet all of you and hear your priorities and concerns as we prepare to begin budget discussions,” Williams said. “So come on out, bring the kids, enjoy our parks and some refreshments, and let’s chat.”

Williams will be at the Lynwood Park Recreation Center, 3360 Osborne Road, at 10:30 a.m Wednesday, Aug. 19. The mayor also will be present at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Food Truck Roundup at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road. Another opportunity to pass ideas to the mayor will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug.26, at Ashford Park Recreation Center, 2980 Redding Road, and again at 5 p.m. the same evening at the Food Truck gathering.
