The city-defining bridge to connect Peachtree Corners’ Town Center and The Forum shopping center began taking shape across Peachtree Parkway this past weekend. To complete the project, a portion of Ga. 141/Peachtree Parkway between E. Jones Bridge Road/Medlock Bridge Road and Peachtree Corners Circle will be closed to traffic again from 9 p.m. Friday, June 12, through 5 a.m. Monday, June 15. This time will be used to pour the bridge deck and install the pedestrian panels.

During the road closure, Medlock Bridge Road and Peachtree Corners Circle around the Town Center will be used as detours for both northbound and southbound traffic.

Message boards are in place with the detour schedules. This schedule is subject to change depending on weather delay conditions.

Construction on the pedestrian bridge is expected to be fully complete by the fall.
