Braselton may soon be home to new Chick-fil-A
The Braselton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53 to review an application for a Chick-fil-A franchise.
The property owned by Highpointe Properties LLC is at the corner of State Route 211 and Thompson Mill Road.
The property is currently zoned for general commercial use with conditions and is located within the State Route 211 Overlay District. Chick-fil-A is requesting a conditional use approval to permit a restaurant business with a drive-thru.
Assuming the Planning Commission approves the request, the Braselton mayor and city council will hold a public hearing on the same matter at 4 p.m. May 4.
