A stretch of Brandon Mill Road in Sandy Springs will be closed to through traffic for a week in July for maintenance work on an underground pipeline.

The closure begins July 11 and runs through July 16 on Brandon Mill between West Spalding Drive and Dunhill Court, city officials said.

Motorists traveling south on Brandon Mill can detour left on Dunhill Court, right on Dunhill Terrace and right on West Spalding back to Brandon Mill; those going north can take the reverse route.

Detours will be posted, and on-site crews will assist residents in the closure area to access their driveways.
