Boy, 6, pulled from pool at Palm Beach Gardens hotel, taken to hospital

A 6-year-old boy has been taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach after a near drowning at a Northlake Boulevard hotel, Palm Beach Gardens Fire-Rescue said.

A bystander pulled the child from the bottom of the pool at Inn of America, just west of Interstate 95, around 4 p.m. and began CPR. By the time rescue personnel arrived, the child was responsive, EMS Division Chief Keith Bryer said.
