The Friends of Sandy Springs Library have opened a bookstore inside the facility.

The shop at the library branch on Mount Vernon Highway has room to sell nearly 4,000 used books and other donated media such as audiobooks and compact discs. Prices on items range from 50 cents to $6.

Money raised from the sales goes toward children’s programs, buying new materials and special projects at the branch.

For more information or to donate items, contact Janet Greene at 770-390-9414 or via e-mail at southbreezer@comcast.net.
