Don’t worry if you just had an ‘aha’ moment after finding out Father’s Day is this Sunday.
From the biggest Christian music festival in Atlanta to hiking and kayaking expeditions, there are still plenty gifts and festivities available.
Atlanta Fest has a lineup of Christian acts including Matt Hammitt, Atlanta's OBB, MercyMe, Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey — all performing Friday. Saturday's lineup will include the Afters, Audio Adrenaline, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North and Building 429.
The fest will take place at the Strong Rock Christian School in Locust Grove and cost $35 for daily tickets and $85 for multi-day passes.
After you spoil dad, sneak away for a concert tailored less for fathers and more for millennials.
T.I., Jeezy, Migos and Rich Homie Quan will share the bill with rapper Kevin Gates for radio station Hot 107.9's 21st Birthday Bash, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at Philips Arena.

Ideal festival weather ahead
After showers and muggy highs above 90 degrees, metro Atlanta will cool down some this weekend.
Rain will taper off by 6 p.m. Friday and weather conditions in the metro area will improve, according to Channel 2 Action News.
“And by improvement I mean lower humidity,” meteorologist Karen Minton said. “We get a break from it for a couple of days.”
Expect dry conditions and highs in the low to mid-80s Saturday and Sunday.

Where to take dad
If he likes go-karting and games, take him to Andretti Indoor Karting & Games and let him test out high-speed indoor go-karts, a 7-D ride, a cosmic rock climbing wall and a multitude of video games. The Andretti Grill features appetizers, salads, burgers, pizza, alcoholic beverages and smoked options from the Big Green Egg.
The gaming stop has Roswell and Marietta locations.
If dad's into planes, he'll be able to eat while watching them take off at the edge of the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant offers aviation-themed memorabilia, and dinner reservations were still available from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, as of Friday morning. Dinner items include crawfish etouffee, pork tenderloin and a variety of appetizers, soups and salads.
If dad likes soccer, take him to a restaurant with a turfed Dragon Goal soccer field in Dunwoody. Popular in Europe, the small-sided field at Novo Cucina will let dad focus on his technical skills before or after an Italian dinner plus homemade gelato for dessert.
If dad is an adventure junkie, take him biking along Silver Comet Trail's 60-plus-mile paved trail; explore the Chattahoochee River by kayak, canoe or stand up paddle-board; or take a guided cave tour at Cloudland Canyon State Park on the Wild Cave Tours.
Then there's the ever-popular golfing option: Top Golf opens at 8 a.m. on Father's Day and has an upscale pub that offers a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, sliders and desserts, as well as beers, wines and craft cocktails.
The business has Atlanta and Alpharetta locations.
Don’t come out empty-handed
Peruse old fashion cocktail syrups locally, or shop consoles or carved wood bowls of reclaimed tree trunks at the Signature Shop in Buckhead.
Get dad the newly released Papa's Pilar Custom Barrel Dark Rum or a gift basket of jams, chocolates, cheeses and wines at Wahoo Wines in Decatur.
Whatever you do, just don’t get him another tie.
