If you don't mind wearing something from *dramatic music* LAST SEASON, then Avalon has something you might want to check out.

The Alpharetta mixed-use development is hosting a pop-up sample sale of Billy Reid through Sunday.

Reid's operation is based in Florence, Alabama, which is an unlikely home for a fashion designer whose duds, according to the Hollywood Reporter, can be seen in the James Bond movie "Skyfall" on Daniel Craig along with Will Smith in "Gemini Man" and Julianne Moore in "After The Wedding."

The peacoat featured in the 007 movie from 2012 apparently continues to be a big deal for Reid, as he told GQ last year: "The Skyfall effect has lingered well after the movie ... We had such demand for the peacoat that we had to take a significant inventory position on raw materials to meet the orders, which have come from all over the world. It is still one of the top-10 selling items for us every fall."

Reid has stores in the Westside Provisions District and another in The Shops at Buckhead.

Avalon said this pop-up event is a one-time deal that features wares from last season that are up to 70% off.

You can see for yourself at 4140 Avalon Boulevard in Alpharetta.
