More sidewalks for school children will be built in Austell. The Austell City Council decided 5-0 Monday to pay nearly $220,883 to Reeves + Young to install the sidewalks on Wellington Way, Kensington Court, Jackie Lane and Westside Road. Public Works Director Randy Bowens said the sidewalks will connect to Humphries Hill Road, where children catch the school bus.

Plans also include resurfacing of the four streets, Bowens added.
