A second Roswell location of Vinings Gallery has opened, and the celebration is taking place all weekend long.
Stop by Vinings Gallery on Canton — which soft-opened July 18 in the space formerly occupied by The Painted Monkey — on Friday to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Roswell Mayor Jere Wood.
Throughout the weekend owner Gary Handler will host five new-to-the-gallery artists: Gloria Lee, John-Mark Gleadow, Fabio Napoleoni, Zheng Li and local sculptor Chad Awalt. The artists will "engage with collectors, speak to their work, and dedicate pieces to collectors," according to a news release.
The gallery's first show was held in mid-August with Pamela Sukhum.

The event comes on the heels of another grand opening: Curate – A Collaboration with Vinings Gallery, located in Rosemary Beach, Fla., had its celebration last weekend. Vinings Gallery also has a location on Elizabeth Way in Roswell and Vinings Framing on South Atlanta Road.
