Thursday morning will be misty and cold, but temperatures are expected to climb for the weekend, forecasters said.

“For the most part it’ll be dry, but mostly cloudy,” 95.5 FM and AM 750 WSB News-Talk meteorologist Kirk Mellish said.

Expect spotty drizzle and light fog through the morning with temperatures in the 40s leading up to lunchtime, Mellish said.

The high for the day will be 54 degrees, with overnight lows ranging from 36 to 42 degrees.

Friday will be warmer with a high of 62 and partly sunny skies. Saturday’s high will reach 60 with more sunshine.
