Atlanta is getting another Newk's Eatery before the month's over.

The new 5,125 square-foot location will open on July 30 at 1715 Howell Mill Road. It’ll accommodate more than 200 guests and have a patio and available parking.

The menu includes toasted sandwiches, salads, soups, pizzas and cakes. Newk’s is partially known for its “roundtable,” which holds free garnishes such as imported pepperoncini, breadsticks, grated Parmesan, house-made croutons and pickles.

GA Fast Casual II will operate the new restaurant, in addition to their other Newk’s restaurants in Druid Hills, Tucker, Lawrenceville and Midtown.

“At Newk’s, great food drives us, and we’re excited to share our thoughtfully curated menu with more folks in the Atlanta area,” said Stewart Slocum, CMO of Newk’s Eatery.

Newk's in Atlanta is open Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The chain has about 120 locations in the country. See the Georgia locations here.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
