Atlanta Falcons 'Friday Night Lights' coming to Gwinnett (again)

June 14, 2016

The Atlanta Falcons' annual "Friday Night Lights" scrimmage is coming to Gwinnett.

Again.

This year's scrimmage will be held Friday, Aug. 5 at Grayson High School in Loganville. The practice begins at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

During each of their last eight training camps, the Falcons have left their Flowery Branch facility to show off in front of capacity crowds at local high schools. Every time but once, they've chosen Gwinnett County as their destination. They've previously scrimmaged at Mill Creek (2008), Brookwood (2009), North Gwinnett (2010), Norcross (2011), Peachtree Ridge (2012), Archer (2014) and Buford (2015) high schools.

They scrimmaged at Gainesville High School in 2013.

In past years, festivities have included a "fan fest" area, post-event autograph sessions and a fireworks show.
