Arthritis Foundation awards fellowship to GHSU researcher

The Arthritis Foundation recently awarded a postdoctoral fellowship grant to Nianlan Yang of Georgia Health Sciences University.

The study focuses on a prospective new anti-arthritis therapy and will receive $100,000 over a two-year funding period. Yang joined the faculty of GHSU in 2008.

The foundation is among the largest private nonprofit financial supporters of arthritis research.
