DeKalb County police have arrested two suspects and are seeking a third in the killing of a man whose body was found in a motel room in Tucker, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Darrius Aderhold, 21, and Jonathan Ray, 19, were arrested Monday night in connection with the death of the unidentified victim. They are being held in DeKalb County Jail on charges of murder, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.

“We’ve identified a third suspect in connection with this, but we have not arrested him yet,” Parish told the AJC in a phone interview Tuesday.

Investigators were seeking to determine a motive for the slaying and to confirm the victim’s identity with his next of kin, Parish said.

A maid at the Super 8 at 1600 Crescent Centre Boulevard in Tucker had entered a motel room to clean it Sunday when she discovered the man’s body.

Motel employee Ritesh Gandhi told Channel 2 that he saw blood and the dead body near the sink, and broken furniture, clothing, sheets and other items scattered throughout the room.
