Several retailers and malls across the country have decided to not open on Thanksgiving Day this year, taking a break from recent holiday shopping trends

But for those in Cobb, there's no need to worry about whether the local malls will be open.

The Cumberland Mall and Town Center at Cobb are open on Thanksgiving Day during limited hours for those eager to get holiday shopping done before Black Friday.

Cumberland Mall, located at 1000 Cumberland Mall, opens its doors on Thanksgiving from 6 p.m. until midnight. The mall reopens on Black Friday at 6 a.m.

You can view Cumberland Mall's complete holiday hours here.

The Town Center at Cobb, located off I-75 on 400 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway, opens on Thanksgiving Day from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. The center closes for just five hours and reopens on Black Friday at 6 a.m.
