Apparent human skull found in SW Atlanta
A man walking his dog Wednesday morning stumbled upon what appears to be a human skull, Atlanta police say.
The dog was sniffing around in a wooded area in the Ben Hill community when he began barking. The skull was found "several feet" off the 2400 block of Daniel Road, an Atlanta police spokeswoman said.
Personnel from the Fulton County Medical Examiner's collected the evidence for further investigation.
