Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a man and shot him multiple times last week in Vine City.
Video appears to show the suspect, in a black “Jordan” hoodie, enter a room and shut the door after the victim walks inside. The suspect appears to pull out a gun and take some items before they both leave the room.
Witnesses told police there was then an altercation outside, which resulted in the shooting. One witness said he heard “the slide of a gun being let forward” and several people “scattered to take cover,” the report said. The witness said he subsequently found the victim with several gunshots to his torso.
The suspect allegedly fled the area, possibly in a red sedan.
Officers found the victim — who they said lives at the Vine Street address — lying in the front yard on Oct. 19 around 11 p.m, according to police. He was in stable condition Thursday, police said.

An unknown amount of money and a handgun were stolen, according to police.
The video appears to show packaged snacks and items, similar to a convenience store setup. Atlanta police did not know whether the victim had a permit and could not confirm whether a store was being run out of the home, but said the department’s license and permits unit had been made aware of the incident.
The presence of another person seen in the video was not explained.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest.
