Andrea Sneiderman leaves DeKalb jail

Andrea Sneiderman walked out of the DeKalb County jail Thursday, nearly three weeks to the minute since her arrest on charges she conspired to murder her husband.

Sneiderman, 36, was granted $500,000 bond Tuesday by DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams. A cashier's check for $250,000 was paid Thursday morning, and, before leaving custody just after noon, she was fitted for an ankle bracelet.

Sneiderman declined comment as she exited the jail and into a minivan driven by defense attorney Doug Chalmers. She will return to her parents' home in Roswell, where she is required to remain until her trial.

The Dunwoody widow is charged with conspiring with her former boss, Hemy Neuman, to kill her husband, Rusty Sneiderman in November 2010. Neuman was convicted earlier this year for the murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Sneiderman has denied any involvement in her husband's murder and insists she was never romantically involved with Neuman, her former supervisor at GE Energy.
